I have been researching and wondering if anyone knows or own a fly river in Texas. I was researching the laws on exotic animals and it states that no endangered species can be kept as a pet. The ICUN websites classified the pig nose as endangered as of last assesment publish in 2018 with no recent dates. Other web sites states that it is under Vulnerable. Trying to find out if there s anyone or keeper who know if I an own one legally in Texas.

I think it is legal with a permit, I would check with Texas fish and wildlife
Yah just saw a few for available on morph market legal papers and was thinking about getting one but need to be for sure about Texas laws on them. Did research but nothing definite about fly rivers just states dangerous exotic animals like tigers etc that need a permit to have.
I googled and no results maybe actually call if you are serious and also ask the seller
Yah I'll ask texas fish and wild.life when I return back in town tomorrow and I already message the seller he thinks it's not illegal to have them but will help me research on his end. Hopefully it ends up with me getting one. Thanks for your help by the way. I appreciate it.
