Very cool. I don't know anything about piloting, but I'd imagine you can't just fly to work, home, etc. Wouldn't you need ATC to make sure air space is clear? Looks like you'd still need a runway as well for take off & landing.

It just passed FAA certification and they are taking orders for 2011 delivery

Very cool. I don't know anything about piloting, but I'd imagine you can't just fly to work, home, etc. Wouldn't you need ATC to make sure air space is clear? Looks like you'd still need a runway as well for take off & landing.

In remote areas, with no ATC (air traffic control) you could easily fly to work, home, etc.! A runway could be any paved surface that is long enough!
