Holy crap, I just fed my AC's and my Chipokae got so excited he launched himself out of the tank as I put the food in. I only had my glass top open about maybe 3" too. I hear this loud splash and see something fly out, thinking it's water I look down quickly to see Senor Chippy lying on the floorboards motionless. I freaked and quickly grabbed him and put him back into the tank.
I'm keeping a watch on him, it was a pretty far fall but he seems ok, was instantly eating voraciously as I put him back in. I didn't notice any damage to him at all either which is good. That's the first time I've seen one of them jump, nuts.
I'm hoping there isn't any unseen injury to him, anyone else ever had that happen?
