south east asia
got one today.
pretty tiny, only about 4 inches total length.
what am i supposed to feed him?
all i can find are ants and they arent nutritionally healthy right?
thats what i see them eating in the wild though.
no shop sells pinhead crickets and its gonna take time for me to breed my own.
do they need water dishes?
are they really hard to keep when this young?
do they need warm spots to heat themselves up?
or is sunlight/UVB/UVA good enough?
ive kept bigger ones for short whiles before letting them free.
but never one this small.
he doesnt seem to mind me around much, although he can be flighty when i try to grab him because he keeps climbing onto my head.
i cant find much info on the net.

Can I ask why you bought an animal when you don't even have its needs regarding feeding?

Didn't you even ask the pet shop that was selling it what its currently feeding on? Sorry but unhealthy food > food at all dude.

:screwy::screwy::screwy:
didnt buy it.
it flew off a tree onto my shirt.
i know alot about them in the WILD,but not in captivity.
and everything i read says they eat ants.
the reason im asking here is because theres little to no info on the net.

i think its best to let it run up a tree and let it live its life out. they make poor captive because they require alot of space, being that they glide from tree to tree.

yea,im going to let him go later.

One of the hardest lizards to keep alive let alone trive. Let him go as soon as possible. Unless you have a reallly huge tropical forest greenhouse death is granted:(

yea,ive decided to let him go.

I'm glad you let it go. But did you happen to get any pics first? They are reallly neat little lizards. A shame they do so poorly in captivity.
