Today my "Histrix" is going on alot of flights, when ever I am not feeding my fish or standing right by my tank. my histrix is flying around the tank around a 4in below the surface. He has never done this before so it worries me or maybe he has gotton that comfortable with the tank, idk. Any of your rays do this?

Thanks,

Eric

it happens.... you have a happy ray ;)

:iagree: your rays seems very happy with his environment. whenever my ray does that usually their hungry and waiting to be fed. :D

I dont want to alarm you, but my retic did that before he died. I had done a water cahnge and I did not know it, but my tap had an ammonia spike. Well my retic became sick (it never bothered my motoro) and after 5 days died. The last day of his life though he went crazy, flying all over the tank for some reason.

I remeber that thread but from what I saw in the pic the ray was like reverse suction cupped to the surface.

think that was a ray doing summersaults. someone had a ray that kinda floated by the surface as a UFO, and turned there was something wrong with water quality and it stopped as soon as it had started when he sorted it out
