my tsn while although still alive wont stop sitting at the top of the tank. :duh: wont move till i put my hand in, when he bolts into the glass then it starts all over. he cant be eating if hes up there everytime i look at him... little bit worried i really dont wanna lose anouther one. :1zhelp:

There's something wrong with your tank that is souring the bottom to the point the TSN isn't comfortable in it. When was your last water change? What's the temp (top will be warmer than the bottom)? How much aeration does your tank have? Powerheads for creating bottom current?
TSNs need clean water, good amount of current, and moderate to heavy dissolved O2 percentage.

How is your water perameters? :D

temp is kept at 74degrees, hes in the 55gal right now with two pen 330's on it. water was just changed 2 days ago. and it has a bubble wall going accross the whole back so there is plenty of air and the temp is 74 degrees at the bottem right side with the heater smack in the middle. i really dont think its the water. i dumped a bunch of cycle in the nano to try to get that going as fast as possible. ill just put him in there tonight and hope for the best.

ok i got him eating. blackworms got him going. i think they my have just spoiled him at the pet store. ... now im gonna have to keep a stock of black worms at home. they live longer if you keep them in the fridge right?

hey now!........yeah they will last longer, use dechlorinated water too

no offence intended... but he is spoiled rotten. its ok he just better get off that kick eventully, i cant keep buying worms every other day.

the temp is to cold
