thats a 15g right? you could put 2 clownfish and a few snails and hermits and a shrimp. i wouldnt do that small of a SW tank if you are inexperienced with SW, if you do not want to upgrade, do lots of research and start a nano tank with corals because chances are you will get coral itch or will want to upgrade to larger tank anyways. nano tanks are just as fun unless you want predatory fish

SW = saltwater.

If you don't wanna do rock you may at least wanna do a couple inches of sandbed because it will help keep your nitrates down.

The only equipment you should need is a hang on back filter (I'd use a small Penguin personally), hydrometer or refractometer (the latter is more accurate), saltwater master test kit, salt mix, heater and sand. A small protein skimmer may also be of benefit.

I would recommend you use distilled water or RO/DI because it will aid in keeping algae at a minimum. In such a small tank it should be pretty cheap to use that anyway.
