Hi,

I'm just alittle excited about getting my hands onto a Trio of 100% Pure Wild Yellow Labriden, collected from a uncontaminated pond in Mexico. Just wanted to share, and please chime in...

You're a lucky guy! Any spawning going on yet? I see one of them wearing the black mask.

Sorry, no such luck as of yet. But I do have my fingers cross...

THANKS, For asking!!!

Don't see pure FO Yellow labriden very often, actually I only can think of one person who has them (Rusty Wessell). The pure Media Luna variant I have heard are being watered down by natural occurring cross-breeding with H. Carpintis. Congrats on your pick up.

Yes, your right. You don't see the real deal holyfield around that often. Other than Rusty, Mo was the only other person I knew that had them , and I been after him for awhile for some of his F1 with no luck. So when these turn up at a sweet price, I had to get them. Now I have my holy grail...

did you find them locally or did you have them shipped? you are very lucky to have found someone getting rid of them.

You think I don't know that I'm bless. I wanted for what felt like a life time for them., and the best thing was it didn't cost me a arm and two legs for them. Yes it was locally, he got them Saturday, and I drove that Sunday and pick them up. Before he had a change of heart:headbang2:headbang2

The Male was 6in, and the female was 5in and the other was 4.5in. The thing that made it even sweeter, I was able to put them in my 180gl instead of having to put them in a grow out tank first. HOW SWEET IT IS!!!!

Didn't you pick up F0 Labridens from me at the North Jersey auction a while back. Maybe I'm mistaken. Where did the fish originate....the uncontaminated pond?

I assume these were some of the ones collected right next to the reserve by Don. I had heard the he sold several wild ones a while back.
