I originally had a metal stand which was very crappy looking along with gaps between plastic trim of tank and metal tank. Anyways so i made myself diy stand made with 2x4s and when i did, it still have gaps in the middle of tank trim and paper thin hap on the trim on one corner of tank.

So i took my 120g down today and placed a plywood underneath. AND at the edges of plywood where the tank trim aits, i put a weather strip foam so the edge of plastic trim would sit on it and press down on it evently on all edges of tank. <br />

Do u think this was a good idea putting foam right under the trim? Im getting mix opinions about it. I did this so i dont get pressure points on certain parts of the plastic trim. My tank is 99% level
