:irked::nilly::irked:

dont know what the problem with the filter was but ive never had cloudy water either knock on wood all theese years ive just been lucky in that aspect..... ive always been told cloudy water is water in cycle ash in the food or nit' problems

I just did a 50 percent water change on my 28 gallon yesterday and today the water is cloudy and getting worse. I have two filters on it and only clean one at a time. WTF? sorry for the hijack, but figured this was a good spot for my question.

I'll add a little more info and bump this post. I put salt in, added my chlorine eliminator, and threw in some 'cycle' or beneficial bacteria. I've had this tank running for almost a year now and have never seen the water cloudy even a little bit. Other than crap floating right after the water change. I cleaned the gravel with a gravel pump as well. Can't think of anything else. Come on, somebody has a good answer.
