i have these a week now,i want to do a progress post,125g,28c,50 percent weekly water changes and 2 buckets daily to clean waste,filters are 1 fx5 and an internal,feeding 4 to 5 times daily,tetra prima,nls grow,sinking pellets,frozen cyclops,this will change as they grow,i will post pics every 3 weeks,thanks

Will be interesting to see how they grow.Mine always grow really slow but then I,m not trying to grow mine out.I just leave them with the parents and when they are ready to breed again the fry become food.

SWEET, definitely following this thread will be cool to see how fast they grow in your big tank, mine grew super slow because i tried growing them out in a 20g long even though i kept the water super clean, but when i added my remaining Lone survivor (who killed off his siblings) into my 120g when he was about 1.5in he has since grown almost .5in and doubled in body height in 2 weeks

i put a few ditters in with these today,tetras...,the look confused lol,it will be a while before they can make a meal out of them...

lol yes a good long while but even at that size they will show the tetras who is boss, i had a couple rosy minnows in my grow out tank to cycle it before i got the festae and even when the festae were less than 1in the rosies knew to get out of their way if the festae wanted to claim the hidy spot they were in lol
