Well as I posted before. I got a new 100G aquarium last weekend. Since then, I've been out on several days with a cast net and dip net collecting some stuff for it. I also collected 6 spps of plants. The only one I know is a bulrush, the rest are at this point, well.."aquatic plants". Anyway, here are a few pictures of some of my tanks new populace. Keep in mind these are new fish out of the nearby river so they haven't regained their (non-stressed) color yet, so they're kinda ugly:
Texas Cichlid about 4 inches:
two more TX Cichlids a bit smaller than the first:
two of these little TX Cichlids (1/2 to 3/4 inches):
A couple of the 6 spps of plants, an ID would be nice if anyone knows:
and lastly a picture of my almost finished aquarium. I'm headed out today to see if I can find any holey rock to replace those in the tank now:
I'll try and get pictures of the Darters and very small bluegill I caught once they get brave enough to come out and before the TX eat them.
