food 4 snake heads

hi everybody. i m a young guy from norway so dont laugh at my english please!! :D
well i got 4 giant snake heads ( channa micropeltes) in my tank, i just wonder about what kind of food you give them? i know live fish is the best and the most entertainning food, but its kind of expensive!!!
so if anybody got some better ways to feed my 4 friends, let me know!

My one would eat every thing including tank mates. You say you have 4 Reds in one tank how big are they? I found with my one that when it lost its stripe from then he was a :swear: . As for food when he was small Worms, Shrimps, Strips of fish, as he got bigger Mussels, White bate (small silver fish frozen) Cockles, Prawns, The odd feeder, Then when he was 20” any think including tank mates.

Yes the free electric cat that I took of a mate and my JD, the JD was meant to be the :swear: and the electric cat was not a problem well put it like this I still have the JD. :cry: The ironic thing is the aurantimaculata had a tank to its self but I had stripped it right down and though he would be fine in one of the 6fts what a :swear: .My red well that was sold to a man that thought he new all and after it caused havoc in his tank was sold on again. I did try to tell him he didn’t play well with others. :screwy:
 
the biggest 1 is about 35 centimeters. the others are around 25 - 30 cm. thanks for helping me. yes they eat a lot of live fish but they live with 1 parachromis managuensis.( 30 cm )
and a archocentrus nigrofasciatus ( 10 cm ) the last one was given as food for sometime ago, but still swims happy around!!! they eat all other fish i put in the tank........
