Food - Anyonemaking there own Ray Food?

If anyone is, care to share a recipe. I have made foods in the past for Cichlids. It was too long ago to remember the recipe though. I remember it was hard to make little bite size frozen cubes easily that would keep form when defrosted so as not to make a mess of the tank.
 
I tried it once. I took an old discus recipe I used and modified it.

I bailed on it after the first batch. It was too much work and too messy especially when I never had problems getting them to eat.

Mazuri also makes an elasmobranch mix that you can add water and vitamins to. It smells horrific but the rays did not mind it.

I don't think that it is worth the effort or cost. If they eat a wide variety of foods (smelt, shrimp, worms, clams, crayfish, pellets, etc.) they should be fine nutritionally.
