What can I feed my 1 inch baby gar? Feeders are all to big for his mouth! I am only feeding him with frozen blood worm, any other better food that I can feed him??

if you can get a hold of any fish fry this will also work quite well and will help the gar grow quickly to the stages where it can take down larger prey items. Daphnia also works well--

You could try mosquito larvae if you can get them; if fed my gars those until they were large enough to accept larger prey.
Thanks guys!! It really help! I fed it with brine shrimp and I manage to get some small fry! The baby gar has a full stomach now 
I have about 100 1 inch gar I got from the river. They were in a pool that was drying up. I was just going to save there lives until I found our they go for $35 each. Where can I sell them and what can I feed them to keep them alive. They are so tiny they look like little worms.
The good thing is, they grow extremely fast at that size. You will have gars that will be able to take small guppies in 2 weeks. Good luck! And pics will help MFK members ID the gar in question for you. The location of the area where you caught the gars will help also. You can't really sell them but there are loop holes for trading native species.
