What is the best food to get some growth on my armatus. It is already taking prawn and mussel but is there anything else worth trying. Eventually I want to get it on to pelletsbut one step at a time

Anything with high protein is good. I'd try to rotate tilapia and earthworms in there along with what you're already feeding. Should do the trick. You can even stuff the food he does take readily with pellets for extra calories/protein.

Yeah variety is good for it.I got my armatus on freeze dried krill when it was around six inches. It would snatch them from the surface of the water.I now give it a rotation of raw shrimp and tilapia or whatever fish is on sale at a good price at the market.Oddly enough it now ignores the freeze dried krill.

I feed mine an variety of salmon fillet, talapia fillet, and some random seafood.

Shrimp, scallop, silversides, talapia. Anything mentioned above ^. Gut packing or stuffing food with pellets is also a good idea.

scallops? I can't even afford to eat them myself!

That's okay lol...I buy shrimp and fish for my army but I draw the line at scallops....I like them too much for myself.
