I have a baby achara catfish and I want it to grow faster to a more manageable size. So what kind of food should I feed it to increase size? People say live food increases their size by a lot but my achara is too small to eat feeder fishes and I dont want to risk disease transferring. Would anything that is alive work? Like would worms work well? Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Feed it all of the above plus frozen food and a good quality pellet and it should grow big in no time.

Large water changes will do more for growth than any particular food.
Many discus breeders will change 90% daily to get maximum growth.
There is a theory that groups of fish emit growth inhibiting pheromones, and this may be why fish were thought to grow only to the size of a tank in the old days, when water changes were considered bad. Daily water changes may be the only way to remove these stunting compounds and speed up growth.

I started doing daily water changes when breeding angelfish and they went from about this size --- to about this size --------------
