Canada... i wish.
hey everyone i need some suggestions of types of food i can feed to my eel and oscars. right now i am feeding them pieces of frozen shrimp and i think they are getting bored of it. blood worms wont work because my fish eat alot! i feed them night crawlers sometimes but its to expensive and i cant find them wild in las vegas :D :irked:

so does anyone have any suggestions for me?

the oscars will be great on a staple diet of high quality pellets, and use the foods you mentioned occasionally to provide some variety, also you can try tilapia from the market

hikari massivore (sinks also)
hikari sinking carnivore (if they are smaller)
any of the hikari pellets.

you could try silversides, just like feeder but without the risk.
freeze dried krill.

anything.

my oscars will be fine with pellet food... but my eel is is a very picky eater:irked:... so i mainly need food for the eel :nilly:... iono maybe ill just keep my tank stocked up with ghost shrimp so he can eat them when ever... good?

I heard that the Massivore brand, that each pellet =1.8 goldfish. Is this true? I'm going to need to get some then if thats true.

I still think you're better off with bloodworms even if it is a hassle, I wouldn't trust the "letting a bunch of shrimp go" method mostly because the oscar will eat most of them too fast

will they eat meal worms that reptiles eat?
