Food for Dats?

I recently ran out of live food for my Dats and the craziest thing happened... They started eating my Poly's food. ( Brine Shrimp sticks and Spirulina sticks) Is this ok for them to eat or no? What is a good non-live food for them to eat?

blood worms, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, flakes, pellets (if they'll take them), chopped krill.......basically anything and everything that they will eat is good. Mine is a bit bigger and loves shrimp and smelt.

Will they eventually take food off the bottom or just while its falling to the bottom?

My bigger indo (8-9") will take it off of the bottom. My 1-2" ones will as well once in a while

If they eat pellets, that is great. Mine only likes frozen or live so far.

That's all that I have been able to get my dats to eat...all of the frozen foods listed above. They will pretty much clean anything up off of the bottom of the tank.

You've got them onto pellsts thats great, mine only take bloodworm and prawn.
