I feed mine a variety of foods ,mostly fish and seafood but I add in pellets or a vitamin B1 supplement to make sure they get all the nutrients they need.I feed shrimp, squid, mackerel scad, tilapia, surgeonfish and tilapia.I would feed salmon too but it isn't available here ( very oily though).Pellets - hikari carnivore pellets and hikari mini cat pellets.Cooked shrimp doesn't have as much nutrients as raw shrimp, don't feed shrimp as a staple unless you feed pellets or soak in vitachem as a form of vitamin B1.

That’s what I thought.

What is the healthiest food you can give? And also, how is sturgeon available, yet salmon isn’t? Is it because you live in a place with sturgeon cultivation or something?

Nope I meant 'surgeon fish'. I believe these are called the 'striped surgeon fish' -118004201_1013984229061707_7786039032233763182_n.jpg
I think most members from the Us feed tilapia since it's easily accessible there.

I loved feeding mine when I had them tilapia. watching them grab a huge chunk and do a death roll like an alligator was so fun to watch.
