Hi All. Does anyone know if there are books on recipies to give to your fish or websites that tell you good foods for certain fish, please and thank you.

What sort of fish are you planning to "cook" for? If you narrow it down it may be easier to point you in the right direction.

Do a search on here for DIY foods.

yes!this site, there have been dozens of threads on market foods and diy recipes here.look around there is a great wealth of information on that subject here.

you already found it my friend. any fish you may have or are curious about, you can post a question on this website. we have plenty of people who know tons about almost every conceivable aspect of fish keeping you can imagine

and a few people like myself that THINK we know it all ;)

Well thanks all! My fish is an Oscar, and I was about to give him frozen earthworms thats I picked myself then threw them in blender, and didn't come out right....well forget that. In other words any recipies for tiger oscars, please and thank you.

once you thaw out the frozen worm, theres no need to mash it up, unless the fish is extremely small. even then, just cut it into a few bite-sized pieces.

once they have the taste for earthworms, they will sit there for an hour with a giant worm hanging out of their mouth trying to get it down (not a good idea, but still funny to watch)

try getting frozen tilapia fillet from a wal-mart. its dirt-cheap and when cut up, it will be a wonderful addition to your oscars diet.

I'd chop the earthworms and feed directly (thawed of course) but the blender method isn't right.
