Food for Gymnos

What is a good food to feed my 2-3" Gymnos?

I am currently feeding Ocean Nutrition 1mm Omni pellets, 1mm Kens super color pellets, and OSI Cichlid flakes.

What other types of food do they require or are better?

Well Monte I feed my Balzaniis with TetraBits,Hikari Bio Gold, frozen Artemia , frozen bloodworms, boiled peas,lettuce..They love the frozen artemia the most.

i feed mine omega 1 and hakari cichlid flakes. also the hakari micro wafers. they seem to like those. also some broken up sinking shrimp pellets

try some 1mm NLS or Xtreme - they were probably raised on Xtreme, depending where you got them, from Ken right?

I am feeding mine omega one flakes, HBH krill pellets (makes a cloudy mess but it's the right size and they seem to like it) and xtreme pellets.
What you are feeding now is fine though, they aren't picky.

im feeding mine omega one super color pellets, nls pellets, and hikari sinking catfish wafers

I feed mine NLS, Extreme, Kens color and tropheus flakes... as well as super worms and red wigglers. They'll eat just about anything.
