i heard to blanch zucchini, do i just cut up the garlic into tiny pieces.
i have juvinals ranging from about 1 -2 inches

thanks for the responses

ps if you have any reciepies let me know

pss is it correct to feed them twice a day for the amount of food that they can eat for about a min or 2.

sometimes i feed them a little treat if they come up to the area where i feed them even if it isnt feeding time, i dont want them to be hungry

They are omnivores....they pretty much eat anything.

Almost all fish like garlic but you would have to mince it up pretty fine for the juvies.

You can't go wrong with NLS and a pure spirulina flake.

does everything i feed them have to be eaten whole or are they able the bite off pieces, like if i would put idk some spinage leaves would they eat and like that?

You can try spinach, romaine lettuce.....it's pretty much trial and error.

Spirulina has great color enhancing properties, I would try some on them.

As to feeding pellets, alot of times they will play with it but eventually eat as it gets softer.

In the past, I have mashed up sweet peas and garlic together....my guys have always loved that as a treat.

get the Hikari mini pellets for them..and flake food is just great until they can eat the pellets.. blanch the zuchnini and give to them.. they will be in a frenzie for the veggie.. fun to watch them zoom in ... i never heard of feeding garlic.. new one to me.. i do add garlic oil to the aquarium if i find a fish is sluggish and not eating well.. but never had that problem with africans unless they were sick or injured..and then they would go into a hospital tank..for TLC.. you can add some Aquarium salt to the tank per directions .. they love a little Aquarium salt.
