Food I can feed my Red Tiger Motaguense and Flowerhorn

So I have both of these predatory fish and I want to know what else I can feed them. Not store manufactured things like the brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms. I have nightcrawlers I go fishing with that I bought from Academy, but I don't know if they are safe or not. I also have Cucumbers from my garden that I was thinking they could eat too. But I just want to know what they can eat and what to avoid. I was thinking about getting worms from the creek behind my house and trying to breed some for my cichlids too, but I am concerned about pesticides and parasites

Hikari gold, or nls as a staple for the odd treat i go for crickets and worms from a bait shop.

Feeding crickets food that contains minerals and vitamins that your fish can benefit from. For instance, you feed the crickets fish food 9flakes) or vegetables/fruits, and once the crickets finish eating, immediately feed them to your fish so that they can get the same vitamins/minerals.
