Food problems

I'm having trouble feeding my pup other foods. He will only eat frozen blood worms and cut up red worms. I tried frozen krill, silversides, pellets and even zebra danios but he just won't touch it. I really don't want to starve him. Any suggestion???

get frozen prawn or what ever you wish to feed. i prefer prawn as a staple and its easyer to use for this.

chop the prawn while still frozen in to bits that will fit in the rays mouth. put in a small bowl.
put the frozen blood worm ontop and allow it all to defrost together. once defrosted give it a mix up and let it stand for a while maybe an hr or 2 in the fridge.

then add that to the tank.

once you see the ray take a bit of prawn and chew it from the bloodworm mix start picking out the prawn the next time and only adding that to the tank. i use tweezers.

its hard work with some rays and its a real mess about but it works.

i also add hikari carnivor to the mix as they soak up the blood worm juice.

you can even put the prawn in the bowl and put the frozen bloodworm in a net. once its defrosted squeeze the bloodworm in the net and the juice will come out without the worms and its easyer to just feed the prawn and pellets.

remember to let them have a good soak in the juice.
