I also feed mine a mix of fresh beefheart, catfish, shrimp, and peas, chopped and mixed together. They all love it.

No. I get catfish, usually nuggets because they're the cheapest, from the store along with shrimp and fresh beefheart. Use a food processor to chop, add all together with a little water and spoon into ice cube trays. Freeze, put into bags and ready to serve portions. Costs me about $10 a month for food.

Definitely raw. If you buy them shrimp you want to buy the uncooked version. Depending on the size of your fish just thaw out a piece or two (more if needed) and cut them up into bte size pieces and throw it in. My cichlids LOVE shrimp :D

do they like beef? raw beef? or any other type of fish? tuna, salmon ...smoked salmon mmmmmm lol

the beef I have ever fed would be prepackaged beefheart in little cubes. For fish I just buy whatever is on sale, tilapia, catfish perch. I would not feed them any canned food. Make sure it is just plain old pure fish meat. I buy it cut it up and put it in little baggies then to the freezer. Then whenever I am going to feed I just take it out and thaw in water or let it sit in the fridge. Pretty much all types of seafood are fine to feed just make sure there are no preservatives or seasonings.
