Howdy,

What's your personal experience on how big of a fish a ~9'' dat can eat? My NGT is about to get company by some 4'' chalceus...

Watch those chalcius!! they are well greedy, probably one of the fasted feeders I HAVE EVER KEPT. I had 7 in my tiger tank, starting at 3 to 4 inches. They were always the first feeders, without fail. Rapidly grew to 6/7 inch in about 8 months.
Extremely expolosive when feeding, my poor tigers were always last to feed.

But I think they are a nice solid fish, good if u like predatory shoals.

They should be ok, I keot my chalcius, with a 10inch Indo. Also the NGT has smaller gob;) Should be ok...
 
LOL. Thanks a lot, Ade :thumbsup: Yeah, the Chalceus are in quarantine right now, and the water boils when they feed. It's a frenzy. I will try to keep them on a floating diet and keep feeding my NGT with massivore. For now, massivore is too large of a pellet for the Chalceus.

Anyone else want to chime in?
