lately i have been feedin my fish diffreent types of food for example i work in a fish market so cilean seabass was there meal yesterday an the day before was tilapia today a u-10 shrimp they seem to like this is it bad or good does the change in food keep them happy and growin

It is a good thing to vary the diet for fish.

There is probably a downside to it:
The more different fish you feed to you fish, the higher the probability to introduce parasites.

Stick to the prepared foods. Pellet, Frozen, and Freeze dried. Unless your doing saltwater.

He is feeding fresh filleted food fish and market shrimp from the fish market, these mixed with a good couple of pellet types don't risk the parasites and give a balanced diet, esp. if the pellets contain algae. Even for those who feed strickly pellets it is a good thing to vary brands from time to time.

i fed my piranha fish from fishmarkets for years and never had any problems and they seem to get bored of the same foods if fed constantly.
trying different foods will be ok and i am sure if the fish is good enough for us to eat its good enough for fish.
