What are some fruits and veggies that easily sink to the bottom without putting a rock on it? ;) (mostly for my pleco)

I tried cucumber last night, but it floated all night and wasnt eaten.

He usually just eats scum/ flakes and im sure hes eaten a bloodworm or two.

Thanks :)

Blanched zucchini and cucumbers sink. Otherwise forks work great to weigh down food.

Make sure you only let them boil for 15-20 seconds then put them in ice water.

Oh, i boiled em for about 60 seconds. my Black moor almost choked on the lettuce piece he ripped off. I just impaled the lettuce with fork and dropped it in. thanks for the tip.

Isnt he supposed to like earthworms? Hes just a spotted pleco from walmart =0
