Food which colours

I have a salvini, firemouth and a parrot cichlid. The firemouth is pathetic in colour ive got to admitt and id like my salvini to become brighter, is there any foods that can aid this? They are fed with bloodworm and prawns.

Krill, and Frozen peas (you can de-shell them, or not, it doesn't matter). Anything high in Carotene will bring out colors, as well. That is, it will bring out colors if there are colors to bring out. If you have nice fish, the colors will be brought out. It won't help lower-quality fish much, but judging by your Salvini, they're nice. I'd also give Hikari's Gold and Bio-Gold+. They've brought out my fishes colors pretty consistently. Goodluck.

Dont just feed meaty foods as a staple. Flakes/pellets should be thier staple.
