I cant get my fish to eat that much any more......I was feeding them Hikari Cichlid Gold and Food Sticks.....I get my stuff online and I did not get a chance to order some...so I got Cichlid Staple at the petsmart...the fish did not like it..and now they just wont eat....so I went to a better lfs and they said to get new life spectrum Jumbo Fish Formula.....the pellet are a lil smaller!!....I did not feed them for two days and still nothing!!!!!!!!
Im thinking of feeding worms to get them used to eating and then just stop!!!
What do u guys think I should do???

i would say do the worm the thats what i did with my flowerhorn and it worked.

Two days isn't much of a starvation for fish who can go a month minimum without eating. Feed very small portions of the NLS every day, eventually they'll catch on and eat it because they're hungry and soon they wont take anything else.

I don't know about your other fish, but aros are known for not eating for even a week or more. The thing that concerns me it that all your fish aren't eating. How big is your tank and how long have you had your fish?
I would do water changes of about 1/3 of your tank every 2 days. Don't feed your fish until after a week of water changes. Sometimes fresh, clean water will jump start a fish's appetite. Hope this helps, The Doctor.

I've had the some of the fish for 3.5 years....other are like 1 year....I just lost one of my green terrors...Im not sure why but he just stoped eating and died....I've been doing water changes every 3days...40%
there in a 135....they will be going in to a 200 in about a month or two.....money is tight right now!!!!!!

Some of my fish got to where they didn't want pellets either so I made my own food with Bio-Gold pellets, shrimp, krill, bloodworms, peas, zuchinni, spinach, vitamins, crickets, spirilina powder.....tons more stuff in it....mixed it with plain gelatin and froze it in tiny ice cube trays. They go absolutely bonkers when I drop a cube in. They're getting everything they need (even pellets) and they don't know it. My Electric Blue Jack Dempsey babies have grown like crazy on it. All the fish love it.

Im going to try giving them worms and krill for about a week then just stop and give them pellets!!!!!!!!!
