Food?

I am getting an order of new fish to grow out and I want them to be healthy and colorful, what food combos do you use? Brand, food, ect. I use hikari, new life spectrum, and frozen foods. I heard southern delight is good?

I use NLS and hikari , I also feed fresh muscles prawns both shell on and off , whitebait and occasionally squid rings
I also feed new era to my Malawi's but they have a good range for all fish

I used hikari forever n recently switched to nls. So far I love it, but it has only been two months. Once my fish get bigger (soon) I will start giving them earth worms on occasion. Right now they get blood worms from time to time. I also feed massivore once or twice a week as well.

I feed NLS thera+A, NLS large fish formula, and an occasional omega 1 veggie wafer to my Jag and Red Isletas... I just got the Red Isletas from a LFS almost 3 weeks ago and he barely had any red on him, he was more grey. After feeding this diet to him for about 2 weeks he has started to color up and get more red in him, I'd say stick with NLS and maybe throw in some mysis shrimp and/or krill once a week as a treat and call it good.
