What kind of food you give to your channas guys? I use bloodworms krill at the moment but one friend suggests me to use hikari massivore deltoide (something like that) which goes to the bottom from Hikari. I dont want to use live food

I feed my channa on frozen prawns/mussel meat, mainly. Earthworms, maggots, meal worms and frozen fish from my local fish shop on occasion.
I fed my micro on fresh fish from the fishmonger and the odd feeder fish.
My group of pulchra even took freeze dried mealworms.

The more insects the better.
All sub-tropical channas are insectivore.

Can go a more meaty diet for tropical channas though.

So it kind of depends on what channa we're talking about. Either way, making massivore their staple is bad. Feeding it once a week is alright, but don't go for more if you don't want fat unhealthy channas. :)

We are taking for a striata and soon i ll have and a maruloides

Same as all the smaller species: Insects.
Once adult, a majority of fish meat, mussels, prawns and bigger insects can be fed.

Either way, dry food is to be avoided, pellets are ok from time to time, but not as a staple.

Additionally, do NOT feed them mammal meat, ever, they cannot digest it correctly and will build fat if not develop some illness.

Most LFS should be able to order them from the same place they order their fish.
If not, I would look at your local reptile stores, those are almost obligated to have them, as insects are a must for reptiles.
