Foods for Gars

Currently I am feeding my Gars- Miinnows and pieces of fresh Tilapiam(yay for fish market next door) . (i mix the live and tilapia days around to keep them "guessing"what their getting next)

However Besides the minnows is there anything else live that i can feed- NOT Goldfish. I like to keep them stimulated and hunting. Of course my favorite is throwing "surprise minnows" and watching them hunt their prey down.

but like i said Besides Goldfish- what other Live prey can i feed them (ie: shrimps). Thankies in advance. please be gentle..

i feed super worms, market shrimp and feeder sword tails.

yeah, if you can raise your own feeders that would work well...danios, mollies and convicts apparently work well--

You could also try crickets or worms.

Ah i've bred mollies before..lol i got to start that one again hehe' thats for the help everyone ::

ps - not a criket fan but i can do the worms.
