To all those who said ARTC are too aggressive my deepest apologies!
Woke up Saturday morning to a ripped up TSN and Channel Cat on the top breathing heavily. Moved them to a hospital tank and unfortunately lost the Channel Cat. So I moved my caves to remove my ARTC and make sure my South American RTC was alive. Luckily, he was but fins were ripped pretty bad. Sunday morning took the ARTC back to the LFS and I have decided to keep the RTC and TSN. Wow! What he did to the other catfish was insane. Thing is they were in a 240 gallon and were around 4 inches with plenty of space.
My theory is ARTC are extra aggressive towards other cats and "cichlid" aggressive towards all other fish.
On a good note my RTC is extremely person friendly. Does not bolt or scare when my hand is near on the contrary swims between my fingers.
I have never witnessed a fish so friendly and intelligent.
So to all those who warned me I apologize.

Live and learn! lol, next time try putting a jau and an artc in the same tank.... on second though just keep two species only tanks. Jau seem to mellow out with size, wonder if the same is true of artc.

lol, do any of us have the time or the resources to find out? do fish actually survive in rivers with ARTC in them?

Well thing is I owned one before and he was mellow. He would hang out with my Clown Knife and showed no signs of aggressiveness. This one on the other hand was the total opposite.
