Footing?

How large should be footing under 1 meter high concrete block walls, considering that the pond has a mud bottom?

>soft mud> wall may sink and broke

if blocks width is 7cm shall i make a base of 30 cm large x10cm thick?

idea is like rackets to walk on snow....

Footing should be twice as wide as the width of the block...

IE 8" wide block should have a 16" base.
