i have some geophagus in my tank a school of 7

im getting this 12inch dat for 20 bucks ikr smokin deal but the catch is hes blind in 1 eye and owener is selling him due to the other fish is beating him to much and he fights also the fish he fights are wolffish and bichir


the guy told me he noticed the dat fighting more when he removed half of the fish from the tank

if i put him in my tank bare bottom no decor will he fight or eat them?


my geos arent feeder size they are 4-5inches smallest MAYBE 3 inches not smaller

since geophagus red heads are tall will the dat fight and kill them? or eat them?

3" is a snack to a 12" tiger

The fish maybe cheap but do you think it's wise to take on a blind fish with a history of problems with other fish
I know I wouldn't

the fish had no problems untill the seller sold most of the fish from the tank i guess the agression was spread out

i guess ill pass on this fihs

A half blind dat can live a normal life depending on what it is kept with but as big as this one is I'm not sure if anything can be done about the aggression.I'd go for it depending on its bar pattern.

It's normal indo pattern with 1 1/2 bar
