For a 75gal. . .

Does this list sound good?


Fish List:
4x Chocolate Gourami
4x Koi Angel
6x Orange Sunshine Guppies
4x Red Fire Guppies
2x Black Kuhlii Loach
6x Ballon Molly
4x Pineapple Swordtails

For some reason I feel a bit over stocked, but I'm a freshwater newbie still trying to figure things out.

all those fish are small so i dont think ur even close to overstocked.. could be wrong... idk don't look in to small fish much - go big or go home with a 75gallon

Yeah I know, I was looking into smaller fish. I didn't want it to be too crowded.

no problem, that combination should actually look really cool id just say regular mollies over the balloons i think they're goofy looking, but hey that's a preference call

balloons usually die pretty quickly and easily, your stocking sounds good, though i would add a school of 10 or more serpae tetras and plant the tank

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I was going more with a kind of neutral color for the "bigger fish" and reds/oranges for the smaller fish just to make the tank pretty

I'll definitely take everything you guys said into consideration, I won't know for sure until I actually get the tank which probably won't be until the later part of November or December, if you guys have anymore suggestions, let me know!

I like that list, looks good to me. I can't for the life of me get ballon mollies to live but I would give them a shot and see. I also like red fire guppies.

Any ideas why they won't live? Is it just a problem with the fish in general or are they just hard to keep up?

I think they breed them poorly where Im from here. I've tried and tried but they just die, not positive why but they all get sick.
