I just had my butt chewed for deleting a thread from an Australian member looking to get a snakehead. The approved species list for 'All States' of Australia does not include snakeheads. However, the Prohibited Noxious Species list does contain snakeheads.

My questions are;
- Does 'All States' refer to all areas within the coastal boundaries of the Australian continent?
- Are there areas/territories not included in this term within the stated boundaries?
- Are there areas/territories included outside the stated coastal boundaries?

I'm in Queensland Australia and I would assume all states means the whole country including islands within Australias bounderies if thats what you mean.We do have different state laws in each state but then we have federal laws which covers the whole country.I would say "all states" comes under federal laws.

Just thought I,d post this site.It is really weird because it list hardly any American Cichlids that you can readily buy at your average LFS.I was told today at a store that I cant import an asain arowana yet I can purchase it and keep it if it was bred here.????

what I can't work out.Going by their list I don't have 1 legal fish.So I am assuming if it,s bred here and not going through quarrantine it must be o.k.
