Check out this pair im trying to breed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7dD0B9i0zA I'll try to take the separator out tonight again and see what happen. It's kinda dark because I keep the lights very low on this tank, so pictures are very hard to take only videos for you guys. Another video of the male http://youtube.com/watch?v=oP0XrqtL-vI , this time the female is hiden on the right side, atleast the male dont beat her up like he used to before. The blood parrot and pike will be gone soon and Im thinking of putting a pair of angel fish I already have in there; new video coming

Nice pandas that you in there!

Why would you separate your pair? Once they are bonded they will stay together. At least, my pair are.

Thanks guys.
Polo,
The female will hide more and eat less when I take the separater out, Im thinking they just needed more time to completely bonded. Tell me more about the pair you have, do they hang out with each other all the time? did they breed yet? some pics or vids would be nice. I have not breed these guy before and would like some advice. Do you use R/O water for them?

cool lookin tank what kind of loaches are those can't see

My pair stay together all the time. They have them bred for me once. I posted some pictures of them courting awhile ago. I don't use R/O water for them, just straight tap water. The R/O water theory is just some BS a member made up here. I guess frequent water change and high quality food would do the trick, and of course, a compatiable pair. GL with yours.

Yea I dont think R/O water make much of the difference except more work. Hopefully these 2 will pair up. Thanks for the info.
