I was thinking top 2 slides ill make them with sponges and srubing sponges
And the last one bio balls ..
Will bioballs work better under water or water dripping on top of them?

I made my over flow and works fine but my pump its a little bit faster.

Any advice will help thanks

The pump is a easily fixed just add a ball valve. I would but the bio ball in the middle drawer. The air around the bio balls is the main benefit for the wet dry filter. It helps with the gas exchange. You could always put seachem matrix or bio Max in the bottom. They make great submerged media.

Bio balls should be under a drip and i wouldnt clean them very often. I beleave you clean a third at a time if and when you do it

I don't necessarily trust those soft sponges. They usually have chemicals in them. I use the rough green ones all the time though.

Alright cool..iwat else di you use?

Some guy from you tube said to use carbon to remove nitrates
Buy carbon disent remove carbon

Bio balls work best with water running over them. Not submerged. Im currently using nylon pot scrubbers instead. Not the flat ones like in your picture. Shaped more like a ball with lots of holes in them. Get them at your local dollar store. Much cheaper than bio balls
