it changes everytime i make it but this is what i have saved..
.5 lbs raw scallops
1 lbs raw shrimp
1 lbs basa swai (whatever whitefish is on sale)
.5 lb chicken livers
.5 small box of frozen spinach
1 banana
1-2 small clove of garlic smashed
1 5.5 fl. oz can of tomato juice
3 packets of knox's unflavored gelatin
the color will be mostly green, adding pellets before you blend will add a lot of red which will turn it brownish
add bloodworms, pellets, algae wafers, whatever else you want..
i use to add pellets to mine but now all my fish eat pellets on their own so now i dont bother..
i use 8 packets of gelatin.. 3 packets turns to mush and gets eaten by the filters.. you prettymuch cant use too much gelatin.. for small fish mush is better...
-blend everything (accept the gelatin) and bring it to a very low/slow boil..
-follow the directions for the gelatin (boiling ect) then add it to the mix...
-stir for a while so its well mixed...
-spoon the mix into 1gallon ziplock bags (5-8 spoonfulls per bag depending on yer spoon size.. you want the stuff to be about 1/4 of an inch thick)...
-flatten the bag and remove all air..
-stack the bags on a cutting board and place the pile in the freezer..
-keep the stack level till its all frozen or you will have a heck of a time smashing the frozen sheets...
-the bags will almost always split on you.. i keep mine in a frozen bloodworm container (a empty butter/coolwhip container also works well)
ive yet to find a fish that wont eat this stuff... guppies, clown loaches, oscars, plecos, bichirs, datnoids, gars, arowanas, rays, catfish.... friggin everything eats this crap
