I doubt it. I must agree with Canamonster. If you are trying to move them quickly, as you are saying you are, chances are these won't move quickly. Perhaps not at all.

That's what these would cost in the US, give or take:

14" indo tiger fish, $200
14" strigata pike cichlid, $100
12" cichla azul, $100
12" florida gar, $50
12" sorubim lima duckhead catfish, $50
8" granolous catfis, $50
12" pleco, $zero or minus $
12" gibbiceps pleco, $zero or minus $
12" clown knifefish, $50
11 " red terror cichlid male. $100

That's $700. Buy all discount 10%-15%.

That's $600.

This is kind of average between MFK Marketplace, online vendors, and LFS, where many online vendors would price these much higher, I agree with the OP, but you don't enjoy vendor traffic.

And I must note that on average, fish don't move much on MFK Marketplace unless the above prices are cut by 2x.

I know the feeling though. My fish are also so much more precious to me that it clouds my thinking about their marketing.

GLWS anyway.

I apologize if my input is found harmful or undesirable.

Lol viktor. Keep in mind 600 usd is roughly 900 cad. So it might seem higher number but our dollar is much lower value than you folks in the states.

Understood. Thanks Matthew. I realized it but strictly speaking I also realized that CAD wasn't mentioned anywhere in the sales thread but the US $ was. Thus, it remains unclear.

Regardless though...

My point I think stands. After one spends time and money picking up the fish, acclimating them, getting them to feed, keeping them a while, and looking for buyers, not losing any fish, and having already paid a rather fair market price for them... chances are it'll be a loss and not a lot of gain as purported by the OP.

I am not disputing that in anyway Sir. It may have been lost in translation with the currency exchange is all I was pointing out. I always get excited when I see items priced so great online then realize when the exchange is factored in I'm better off to just pay the lfs prices. :(

I really enjoyed and was amazed with the entire stock list break down of sizes and prices, just from a few photos. Clearly a boss in the industry.
