i was fishing for crappie on my jig pole with a small mister twister and i had 6lb test.it was at the huge dam at my house.all of a sudden my line is freaking going craz i ended up catching a 38" pike.i was so happy.then after that i got like 5 crappie and another 32" pike.i gave the 38" pike to a friend who was going to call a taxedermist but he took the fish and i think he mounted it for himsel.fhe was a older guy but he ticked me off.

The way I held him kind of messed up the size comparison he was in the 35 inch range I wish I would have measured him now but He is swimming freely as we speak I caught it using a fish my cousin caught as bait on a big hook with a steel leader. I can not remember if the fish I caught him on was a sucker or a perch but I tried both
Caught him fishing in a secret ( ) marina on harsens Island In MI the body of water it is near is anchor bay I believe.

Hopefully I will have more monster pics when we go again soon

Nice fish, but definetly not a monster. Try fishing Lake St. Clair and catching 50 inch muskies, those are monster fish.

I have but everything is relative A 33 inch or bigger Pike gets you a master angler award that has to mean it is monster

Most the muskie I have caught have been on light tackle walleye trolling

For a master angler the minimum size is 36 inches in 2 regions and is 40 inches in the great lakes.
