...If anybody, you'll appreciate this story, I'm pretty psyched.

I went up to Atlanta this past weekend for the Peachtree Open/PDC champions series (darts). Had a great time.
I entered men’s blind draw doubles 501 friday night. I drew none other than
Ronnie Baxter
as my partner (what luck, huh?)! Yeah, we only came in second, though. I threw a 140, a few 120’s or better, a few game winners, and a match winning shot, but my nerves and the beer got the better of me during the final match, I became slightly too heavy for even Baxter to carry. Whatever, though, 2nd in a big tournament with Ronnie Baxter as my partner was still pretty cool. I wish I would've kept the little ticket that had both our names on it.
Earlier that day, my friend Paul had his ass handed to him by Adrian Gray in singles 501.
Then Saturday, my friend Paul and I entered Doubles Cricket. For our first match we faced
Denis Ovens and Terry Jenkins
(what luck, huh?). Believe it or not, they beat us; but we did give them a little scare first leg. We were pointing on the 19, they were pointing on the 20s. then, later we had 16s and they had 17s, we scored over 300 points against that pair in a legit point war that ended with both of us shooting at bull. They were looking at us like "who the heck are you guys, and how come you don't know who we are?"!. In the second leg, we just couldn’t hit any trips.
That was a pretty frickin awesom mini vacation, playing with some pros. I didn't even try to qualify for the PDC event. 15 dart out was the cut off, I'm not quite that consistent.
Hopefully next year I'll face some ammateurs for the first round or two...
Although I'll take Ronnie Baxter as my doubles partner any day!
anyway, nobody I know around here knows who or what I'm talking about. I knew there were a few Brits around that might appreciate this story.
