If you like cars, this thread's for YOU!!!!! if not, move along and go paint your toenails!!! lately ive been getting hooked on the american le mans series. went to the see the season finale last month at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA. it was incredible. the cars are amazing machines. the ground shaking sound of the corvettes will make you drool!

surprisingly all my guy friends flakes and i ended up going with all girls

taken with a Nikon D40 and my 18-55mm and 55-200mm VR lens. enjoy

IMO this is real racing. they will race in the weather. turn left and right. Up and down hill. Race real cars from the street that are highly modified, Not 4 door cars they make look like two door cars.

I live close enough to mid-ohio but I still haven't been to a ALMS race there. I want to go though.
