Those guys are really cool. I would like a shoal of each. Are they easy to find in Portugal?

i ordered the macrolepidotus from germany, and the erythunus from indonesia... lol but yes they show often in import lists ;) they are still at half size, they get better :D

they peaceful*? could they be kept with maybe rams angel and the like?

*term used loosely

I love these guys. They are skittish though. Really skittish. Best kept as one or 6+.

i guess so... i never saw them trying to bite anything, but the eat a superworm in one bitte, so guess if it fit he's mouth that is not as small as it looks then he will probably eat whatever it is, but with some size you should be fine...

the chalceus herythrunus are a bit meaner then the macrolepidotus, but they also look nicer ;) they are the ones with the yellow pect. fins

the macrolepidotus have a smaller mouth there for edgier face... an i notice they swim in higher waters than the others... ;)
