for those who dont like pitbulls !!!

Didnt think pits are a fad. i always thought bullys where the 'fad' with all the rappers posing with them. which soo many people dont know the difference between bullys and pits and get them mixed up

My belief hasn't changed.. I believe that it's not the dog but the people who own and train the dog who are at fault. In my experience a dalmation and a dobe will turn on you 10x faster than a pit.

I'm more afraid of being bit by cockers, shih-tzus and chihuahuas than pits. And I'm a dog groomer! As far as I understand the statistics, you're more likely to be attacked by a lab or golden than by a pit (or bulldog).

if they were legal over here i'd have one. love them. don't really like toy dogs. rather have an intelligent dog

For every function of a Pitbull there are other breeds that fill that function better, except perhaps for fighting.

i gotta say, the general reputation of pits got to me

i would not get one with my family and the gatherings we have. too many kids running around. same reason why i didnt' buy a house with a pool

although it won't happen because my wife hates animals, if i were to get something, it'd be for my kids and it would be more like a teacup yorkie or something like that

no video or anything a responsible owner can say can make me like a dog that i don't like.......that's like me posting a video for pits owners about poodles and chichuachuas and expecting it to suddenly make you like them.

Its all in the training. If people didn't marvel at how a pit can be aggressive and chew a 2x4 in half instead of playing fetch and reinforcing good behavior less people would be getting bit. Any dog can be bad, its all in the upbringing.

I agree, its mainly the owners that create the problem dog, but then again some dogs are more likely to attack then others, its intertwined with training and the dogs behaviour. I myself would never own a pit just for the problems many have not with biting people but aggression with other dogs (many not all), that being said a pit isnt the only type of dog i wouldnt own for this reason and for other reasons attributed to the breed. I believe a pit can be an amazing family dog and nice to other dogs but sadly most people i've seen with them just don't care to spend the time and would rather have a bad ass dog then a well trained, well behaved one.
