for those who dont like pitbulls !!!

Before my friend moved out of my town he used to own a pit. Holy crap that dog was 10 tons of cuddle. She (shiba) would hold you down and force you to cuddle. Was absolutely outstanding. Love that dog. Miss her :'(

I trust pits over smaller dogs any ways, I would rather have a dog that can protect me than annoy me.

Pit bulls have the potential to cause serious harm. They're wired differently from other breeds and they have jaw strength that exceeds that of most breeds by leaps and bounds. I have nothing against the breed, but I have no desire to ever own a pit.

Why dont' you guys think about it like you think about your guns. It's seems more than fine for every darn American to have a gun (which seems much more ridiculous than arguing about dogs)... It comes down to responsible owners, plain and simple.

I would rather be bit that shot. There are far to many jack ass red necks around here.

I used to have a rot x german shep. Smartest damn dog I have ever seen. Had to re-home him when I moved. The owners put him down when he killed a cat. I flipped ****. Almost got assault charges put on me.

Those would have been justified assault charges... My neighbour just brought home 2 german sheppad x rottis last week. A male and a female. They're like little bears! Awesome.

I'm still trying to figure out why someone would put down a gorgeous dog, cause it killed a stupid cat??? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind felines, but dogs are much better.

Idk, they said that the dog was getting meaner and vicious...I guess. Every time I went to go visit him (once a week if not more) he tackled me and licked me to death...yeah super killer there

I have owned 3 pits and the worse thing they would do to someone is bark before the walk in the door. The one I have now (molly) is a very sweet dog she loves cats and other dogs and she was a rescue from a dog fighting ring. She had been put on steroids and everything and they tried to fight her and she just laid there. The owner ended up going to jail and she sat outside for months with probably no food and she was sooo skinny when I first met her. I am friends with the previous owner of the dogs daughter and she was trying to find her a home and I took her in. She is a very funny and loving dog. she still has scar tissue and everything from where they tried to fight her. So happy to have saved her life

wired diffrently? A special form of mammal I guess? Actually they are not wired diff. They respond the same as others dogs do. Maybe their owners are wired diffrently. The only thing most pittbulls are wired for is devotion. And a need to please their owners. All this kinda talk about lockjaw and wired diffrently is pretty stupid. Ppl should not talk about stuff they dont know about. Go to the local university and give a lecture about astrophysics you prolly know more about that than pittbulls.
