How did it go? The confusion with the "Green Terror" name has made it hard to find good info. about them in a relatively peaceful community tank. I was thinking about adding one to a tank with Geo's and Electric Blue Acaras.

I personally have kept good saum with discus but you have to raise them together if they breed it will start acting like a terror

They can be touch and go, the first I had never shown any aggression even at 8” but the second I kept at only 4-5” would attack and bully a 13” Jaguar Cichlid!
The current one I have is the boss of a 120 mixed tank but is quite calm as far as Saums go

When I've done it they were the boss of the tank but weren't a problem. A benevolent boss in some tanks is a good thing, keeps order in the tank. All in all I'd say they're a sometimes it works, sometimes not proposition. Depends on the usual factors, tank size, tankmates, individual fish.

For me personally, rivulatus have never been a problem with one exception-- wilds I've had that were quite aggressive even at 2".
